    This is what Max has to say about the poster:
    "This is the poster for Hütte's new album - called REDUCE - and was designed by Moritz Borchardt. I thought that for this release I would like to have a handcrafted screenprinted poster instead of a physical CD or LP.
    The album is called REDUCE for two reasons: On the one hand, we have returned to the original line-up with the band - the quartet - with which we started twelve years ago. On the other hand, REDUCE is intended as a memo for all of us, who all have to reflect on where we can limit ourselves a little in view of the impending climate collapse.
    REDUCE will be released on September 15th and I hope everyone wants to get this amazing poster on their walls."

about

Max originally wrote the piece for a contemporary ensemble of flute, viola, two guitars and double bass. It is about in-between spaces, states of suspension - about zooming into the edges of the cracks. Here now in the much more open band version - with a driving but weightless groove and Hütte's own erupting collective solo section, before the construct collapses and three nested guitars keep creating new consonant - dissonant chord formations.
